Tori Adam (she/hers)
Tori Adam is a graduate of King’s University College at Western University, having obtained her Honours Bachelor of Arts in Social Justice and Peace Studies, and began pursuing her midwifery degree at Ryerson University in 2016 (presently on leave from the program). Between degrees, Tori worked in a variety of social service roles. These roles included facilitating healthy community relationships for youth in open detention, supporting at risk young parents (pregnant or with children under the age of 2) experiencing homelessness, and working with Plan Canada supporting the Gender Equity and Educational Projects teams. More recently, Tori worked to support the Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada’s online courses platform, helping professionals in the HVAC Industry augment their residential and commercial air system’s knowledge during the pandemic. Tori is excited to be connected to the Midwifery profession again and supporting Health-Care Equity, Quality and Human Rights department's strategic goals.
